The FIRST BLUEGRASS VALENTINE PARTY
at CANTON, TEXAS
On Friday February 13, 2004 we took a little road trip up north to Canton, TX. We had a fine time and made a bunch of new friends. On Saturday morning, we woke to a virtual winter wonderland! We acted like a bunch of children (no surprise) and started throwing the white stuff at everything and everyone.
Chris discovered a strange substance all over his new 4runner! Rhonda got into the spirit of things and beaned Chris as he tried to snap a photo.
We sprung our 'Hillbilly Rap' on the great audience resulting in lots of laughs. We were such a hit that they asked us to stay over and play again on Saturday. And!!!! we are now booked on Friday and Saturday at the big FREE STATE BLUEGRASSS MUSIC FESTIVAL in Canton on June 25 & 26, 2004! This will be our first appearance at the biggest bluegrass festival in the state of Texas. Make plans to join us there!
