Chris joined The Lonestar Bluegrass Band in December of 2004 but is no stranger to the band. He was the 'official, unofficial, full-time, part-time' member of the group for quite a few years. He substituted on bass and guitar on numerous occasions and was the natural choice to step into the position of full-time guitarist and vocalist. Chris also plays banjo and mandolin, and is working hard on fiddle. He has played with some of the best bluegrass bands in the Houston area and served as vice president of the Bay Area Bluegrass Association. After attending Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches and graduate school at the University of Houston he began a career in banking, and is currently employed by Prosperity Bank as President of the Waugh Drive Banking Center and Chief Credit Officer. His lovely wife Missy and two children Ryan and Rebecca have been very supportive of Chris’ room full of instruments. You will see him playing a D1 Collings guitar or a 1946 D18 Martin Guitar, and a Dearstone mandolin. The addition of Chris Bagley to the personnel of The Lonestar Bluegrass Band has created a new enthusiasm and added a load of great pickin'!
