PAUL KITECK

We welcome back our old pal and former band member, Paul Kiteck. He was a member of the The Lonestar Bluegrass Band for 10 years, from 1988 to 1998. Paul was a major influence on the sound that the band carries today and was a member when we ventured to Chiba, Japan in 1994.
Born and raised in Kentucky (bluegrass country) Paul is an experienced fiddler, having performed with groups from Colorado to North Carolina. Paul has also fiddled with Pine Island Station and Sugar Bayou….both fine Houston area bands. He has several recording sessions to his credit, including sessions for Flying Fish Records, Lonestar Records, Don Sanders and Leeway. His musical activity began at age nine in Kentucky with classical violin, changing to traditional music during his college years and learning the mandolin since that time.
When he isn't playing music, Paul is an acoustic engineer in Houston, Texas, traveling all over the country for his job. He also moonlights as a top notch, very sought after sound engineer for many festivals and events around Houston and south Texas.
