The Lonestar Bluegrass Band had the honor to meet a great man at their 2nd Friday gig at Hickory Hollow. Huey Long.
Mr. Long was an original member of the ground breaking, super group of the early and mid 20th century, THE INKSPOTS. He is a young 90+ and still is playing and teaching guitar in the Houston area.

Introducing the newest member of The Lonestar Bluegrass Band, Adam Cutts. Adam began playing classical violin at the age of 6 and soon began playing bluegrass with his very talented family. He studied under classical violinist, David Perkins and Texas-style fiddle champ, Michael Weiss. Adam took a prestigious third place in the National Fiddle Championship at Winfield, Kansas. Adam has brought a new energy into The Lonestar Bluegrass Band and has become a vital part of the music and show.

The band played the Sam Houston Folk Festival in Huntsville, Texas and Chris gave a banjo workshop with Eddie Adcock.
Martha Adcock played rhythm guitar.
